Sometimes there are circumstances in which people cannot speak for themselves and so it is essential that someone speak for them, such as young children.

The ideas of justice and righteousness are deeply connected in the Bible. A just man helps that other whom he does not know or love to reach that which is due him. So what does God mean when he tells Abraham and his people to live their lives with righteousness and justice?

Simply stated, the principle is: Social justice has become a convoluted term meaning different things to different people. God says that He will do for us in response to what we do for others.
By sending Christ, who was deemed to be fully righteous and just, to take the punishment for the sins of the guilty, God has made it so that all people can stand righteous before Him. That is contradictory Christianity. He is looking for Christians who are willing to be a conduit of His blessing and justice to those in need.
Strangers shall stand and tend your flocks; foreigners shall be your plowmen and vinedressers; Whatever you want God to do for you personally, you must be willing for Him to do through you to others.
